Kamarg Classic Rucksack (re-introduced)

One raincover, two questions.

Dear Everday Life Adventurer,

We are closing our survey tomorrow (Friday) at midnight and I just want clarify two questions on the raincover.

1) The raincover is free with every pledge. You do not need to add it in Backerkit.
If you do so, we will send you two. If that is what you want, great. Otherwise please remove it as we otherwise will charge you. Thanks.

2) And yes, the raincover fits on old Kamarg models as well given they are similar to the size of the one we re-introduced. Just measure your old Kamarg, if it is around 35cm in height and 30cm in width you should be fine.

Dear Everday Life Adventurers,

seems like we got something wrong. We promised to ship Kamarg rucksacks within 12 weeks. Turns out it will be 11. ;-)

Yes, we are getting closer to shipment. From September 25th onwards we will start fulfilling your rewards. Please allow for some time for your Kamarg parcel to arrive, depending on your territory.

As our products are now final we have now updated the pictures on Backerkit. So now is the time to have another look and finalize your colour choice. Also please double check your address there in case you recently moved. You can re-access your survery through the link in your backerkit email (just search for it in your email) or by entering your email address here: https://kamarg-classic-rucksack-re-introduced.backerkit.com/

Please note that we will lock pledges by Friday September 8th midnight. 

What else is happening: We will launch our new website also in German in the next days, moving to one more flexible webstore and more secure platform (SSL). You can check out the new design and shop already here: kamarg.net

And there is a small surprise coming up for people living in Vienna. We keep you posted.

Our sailcloths arrived. They are so...

Dear everyday life adventurers,

just a quick update that the sailcloths for our first production run arrived yesterday. We are so happy, the final colours are just gorgeous.

Also, we finally were able to close the colour challenge for beige. The colour of our last prototype was too greenish and did not match the more subtle beige used on the original Kamargs like e.g. the one I found on the attic back in 2013. As the originals are more than 50 years old and had obviously wear, we needed to define a departure colour for the journey. We think with the new beige we found that colour. It works with a wider range of clothes and also feels more elegant. We will produce a new prototype in the next weeks and share it here so you can see what great difference this subtle adaption makes.

One more thing: the raincover ( in case the backer survey has slightly confused you). If you have backed us via Kickstarter your Kamarg comes with a free raincover. No need to add it during the survey and pay the 10 EUR. Please only do so if you wish to have two. If you only need one, please go back to your survey and remove the additional raincover. We will of course not charge you.

Backer Survey is coming today

Our backer survery is coming to you per email today in the late evening. We decided to use Backerkit to support us with the fulfillment of your orders.

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://kamarg-classic-rucksack-re-introduced.backerkit.com

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. Short update

Dear Every Day Adventurers,

We took a short break last week after three months of daily work on the project to go see some great bands at Bilbao and Melt Festival. Now back, we are still clarifying some payment issues with some of you this week. We expect to have everything good and set by Friday and will then send out the survery beginning of next week (July 24th). Just wanted to let you know in case you were wondering why there has been no survey yet.
